Akronim-akronim Komputer

Meski kita hanya sebagai user biasa, yang hanya berperan sebagai pengguna komputer saja, ada baiknya kita mengetahui sedikit tentang akronim-akronim di bidang per-komputeran. Hingga bila suatu saat kita mengalami masalah dengan komputer, kita bisa sedikit tahu apa dan bagaimana masalah yang sedang kita hadapi. Selain itu, dengan mengetahui beberapa akronim komputer, paling tidak kita bisa mencegah dari tindakan penipuan yang kemungkinan terjadi karena ketidaktahuan anda tentang istilah-istilah umum di bidang komputer.

Jangan sampai, pas kita ditanya : ”Apakah motherboard komputer anda punya slot AGP?” kita hanya terdiam membisu, karena sedikitpun kita tidak tahu apakah itu AGP? Padahal anda mengaku sudah 5 lima tahun punya komputer???
